Keith is a Phillies fan, sort of...

Every so often I like to watch baseball on TV.

I'm not going to sit here and tell you that I'm a huge fan of any one team, but I've been following the Philadelphia Phillies on and off for the last couple of years. When I was young, my parents had season tickets and I was at the game that Mike Schmidt (20) hit his last Grand Slam; it happened to be my birthday! At that very same moment that the Phillies Girls came down with my Birthday prizes and confetti, Mike had his legendary at bat - so I missed my favorite player hit his last homer of his long career - I was too young to care at the time, but my dad made the girls get me a signed card and ball from #20.

Well, now that "my team" is in the world series AGAIN. It would have been nice to watch them on TV. BUT, my TV/CABLE box has been broken since 3 hours before the first game of the series.

I guess it wasn't meant to be... That being said, the iphone and the ESPN app has been a God-send.

Hopefully the Phillies can pull it off tonight in NYC.
